Photo & content guidelines

Make playful, fictional driving and stunt scenes with a photo you have permission to use.

Match the photo to the scene

For Police Stop or Traffic Jam, use one clear person or pet portrait. For Ramp Car, use one complete vehicle or object. Avoid group photos, heavily obscured subjects, collages and photos with private information. JPEG, PNG and WebP files are supported, up to 4 MB.

Use permitted photos

Do not upload stolen or private images, personal information you are not entitled to share, or content that violates another person's rights. When featuring an identifiable person, obtain the permission needed to use and transform their image.

Keep the fiction clear

Do not present an AI-generated scene as evidence of a real vehicle capability, incident or endorsement. Roadster AI is independent of Tesla and other vehicle manufacturers. Label AI-generated scenes when sharing them.

Respect others

Do not use the service for fraud, unlawful activity, harassment or content intended to harm others. Orders that cannot be fulfilled under this policy may require review.
